Govt 2.0 Briefing Paper

This is the report from Public Sphere #2, convened by Australian Senator Kate Lundy and her office in Canberra at which the Ministerial Task Force on Government 2.0 was launched (www.gov2.net.au). 

The report is one of the best compendiums I've seen of the issues and ideas that are now crowding onto the Govt 2.0 agenda.  Some nice 'mind map' summaries too of the issues and main topics covered during the day.

The report was itself crowdsourced ...35 speakers on the day, 170 people at the event itself in the Australian Parliament building in Canberra, 400 watching the live video stream and over 1500 watching the live 'wall' of Twitter, Flickr and instant blogging, 41 blog commentors, 20 bloggers, 300 people tweeting and 22 contributors to the wiki that was then set up to craft the final report and its recommendations.

Great stuff...and a credit to Senator Lundy's team,led by the very able and energetic Pia Waugh.
